Valve Seat Jet Dispensing

The mtv/vss/ba/100a is a depend­able valve seat designed specif­i­cal­ly for jet-dis­pens­ing appli­ca­tions, whether it is dot-jet or string-jet dis­pens­ing.

Its inte­ri­or fea­tures a small but hard and pre­cise ceram­ic ball, mea­sur­ing just 0.79 mm in diam­e­ter, which effec­tive­ly seals the valve seat. The clos­ing sur­face of the seat valve itself is also made of durable ceram­ic, ensur­ing long-last­ing per­for­mance.

The valve seat’s flat ceram­ic noz­zle with a 100 µm diam­e­ter con­tributes to its pre­ci­sion and reli­a­bil­i­ty. In dot-jet mode, this valve seat pro­duces dots with an approx­i­mate vol­ume of 12 nano­litre. These drops result in a dot diam­e­ter of approx­i­mate­ly 350 µm when they form a hemi­spher­i­cal shape. And the advan­tage is: This result can be achieved with a very high repeata­bil­i­ty.

One of the out­stand­ing fea­tures of the mtv/vss/ba/100a, com­mon to all mar­co valves, is its ease of main­te­nance. The valve seat can be effort­less­ly detached from the valve for inde­pen­dent clean­ing. Should the seat become dam­aged or irre­versibly clogged, it can be con­ve­nient­ly replaced with­out affect­ing the rest of the sys­tem.
